The Kawartha Invitational

"I want to thank you all for a great time and a fun tournament.  Your team, the Pro Shop crew, and all the volunteers did a great job!

For a first timer, I really enjoyed myself, and made a surprising second place finish in Flight 7!

I'll be back for the Tournament again.  Thanks!"

~ James D. Wishart (2017)

The first Kawartha Invitational was held in 1946 and was held as a three-day amateur tournament. The Invitational as it is better known has hosted many well-known golfers such as Taylor Pendrith (2015 Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR CANADA player), Ben Kern, Moe Norman, Warren Rehkopf, PGA Tour Player Jon Mills, Nick Weslock, brothers Paul & Don Davis, Dan O'Donoghue, Roger Self, Kirk Miller & Derrick Small Jr. Today it is one of the only three day Invitationals in Ontario to our knowledge.

The 73rd Annual Invitational will be held on the long weekend in August. Friday (August 3, 2018) we will hold the Practice Round.  Saturday, Sunday and Monday (August 4, 5, and 6, 2018) the tournament takes place with trophies being handed out late Monday afternoon.

Kawartha is well known for its hospitality and the Invitational is a tournament that has fostered many great memories, friendship and exceptional golf.

Congratulations to 2017 Champion,
Robert Mackay
