Mission/Vision Statement
Kawartha is a “members’ club” that provides a truly outstanding golf experience. The centerpiece of the Club is a challenging and well-conditioned golf course. Kawartha is truly a “hidden gem” and a fine example of Stanley Thompson golf.
Kawartha is also in the business of providing good food, beverage and banquet facilitates and services both for its’ members and outside users in the Peterborough market area, in all seasons.
Kawartha has a long history and is rich with tradition. Families and friends gather at the Club to enjoy each other and the relaxed casual amenities provided by the Club. The Club works hard to ensure an inclusive atmosphere for all members.
Kawartha has a limited number of membership openings available. Basic information follows and a full Membership Information Package, including an application form, is available under the "Membership Application" section or from the Club office. If any aspect of the Club's operation is unclear, please feel free to contact us as we be happy to clarify any questions you may have.
Dear Prospective Member:
The Golf course was designed by renowned golf architect Stanley Thompson. Over the years, significant improvements have been made. Most recently, all of the bunkers were re-built in the classic Thompson style and new “Temisca” white sand was introduced, a new irrigation system was installed and major renovations contained in the course layout Master Plan, such as the redesign of the 3rd hole and the 5th green, have been completed making Kawartha the best “Club” in the area.
The Course is widely recognized as a “hidden gem”
and boasts one of the finest layout in Ontario.

Kawartha Golf & CC is pleased to announce that we have obtained reciprocal playing privileges at Six top-rated golf courses - DALEWOOD, OSHAWA, PETERBOROUGH, WHITEVALE, CARLETON GOLF & YACHT CLUB and RIVERMEAD GOLF CLUB.
When joining Kawartha, new members are able to not only golf on at great golf course but also take advantage of this extraordinary value-added program which comes with your membership.

Registration for the waiting list requires a deposit equal to 20% of the Entrance Fee in effect at the date the application is received. The deposit will guarantee the Entrance Fee in effect at date application is received, until the point an opening is available and first offered to the waiting applicant. While on the waiting list you will have the opportunity to purchase 10 guest passes (all at one time from the office) at half the highest green fee. These passes must be used in the year purchased and are non-transferable.
If you remove your name from the waiting list the savings
or the half saved by purchasing them will be forfeited from your deposit.
Voluntary withdrawal from the waiting list with a refund is permitted
at any time prior to a first offer of membership being made to the waiting
applicant.
The waiting applicant will be permitted one "pass" at which point the
applicant will go to the end of the waiting list and the guarantee relative
to the amount of the Entrance Fee will lapse.
A second "pass" will result in cancellation of the application and forfeiture of the deposit. When there is a waiting list, the Club may pre-fund debentures submitted for redemption post season in order to facilitate turn over to applicants on the waiting list.
New members (maximum of 5) may be granted full playing privileges if no debentures are available. Available only on full payment of debentures, Entrance Fee and Annual Dues.
